Nokia N82 Problem with Garmin Mobile XT

Nokia N82 has a line of problems, especially the loss of key pencil that is very helpful to make a copy and paste text. Nokia handbook does not help at all, apparently accidentally button appears in the form of the # key, the editing menu will appear when we hold the # key, edit menu option will appear. This will work well when the Nokia N82 is not installed Garmin MobileXT applications.

Garmin Mobile XT (to version 4.10.60) has problems when installed on the Nokia Nokia N82. Problem that occurred after running Garmin MobileXT, then when writing text, the # key is pressed at the time the first time (probably for changing the letter to be lowercase, or vice versa, etc.), the key highlight text and won't back (so the copy paste menu will appear hold).

This problem is caused by the program called TSRAutostart.exe, always appear every time the application GARMIN mobileXT run. The program does not make the # key to return to the original function, so that when we use the D-Pad, it will cause the text will continue highlighted and will continue in the editing mode (copy and paste the menu that appears).

Repair Method:

Alternative 1: Uninstall the Garmin Mobile XT on Nokia N82, then install with Garmin XT 4.10.80 or later

Alternative 2: Press and hold the # key when need to use the D-PAD to move the cursor position.

Alternative 3: After running Garmin MobileXT application, delete the file E: \ system \ Recogs \ CARDRUNNER.MDL, and use Best Taskaman to-kill TSRautostart.exe process, do this procedure each time you run Garmin MobileXT.

Writer suggest you not to install Garmin XT version 4.10.60 or below on nokia N82.

A Historical Perspective of Navigation

Navigation is the process of reading, and controlling the movement of a craft or vehicle from one place to another.[12] It is also the term of art used for the specialized knowledge used by navigators to perform navigation tasks. The word navigate is derived from the Latin "navigare", meaning "to sail". All navigational techniques involve locating the navigator's position compared to known locations or patterns. Terrestrial navigation has relied for millenniums on maps, signs, and the human sense of direction [1, 2]; it is only in recent times that radio signals have helped land navigation. The most important tools for navigation were created to ensure safety during maritime journeys. The first infrastructure created as a navigational aid was the lighthouse. The world’s first lighthouses were erected about 2,000 years ago: the Colossus on the Rhodes Island in Greece and Pharos at Alexandria in Egypt. It was not until the nineteenth century that the Fresnel lens
